Microsoft’un Xbox kullanıcılarına özel oyun abonelik sistemi Xbox Live Gold, her ay abonelere bazı oyunları ücretsiz bir şekilde sunuyor. Xbox Live Gold abonelerinin ağustosta ayında sahip olacağı ücretsiz oyunlar belli oldu. Temmuz ayında; Planet Alpha, Rock of Ages III: Make & Break, Conker: Live & Reloaded ve Midway Arcade Origins oyunlarını ücretsiz sunan Microsoft, ağustosta yine 4 yeni oyunu abonelerine ücretsiz dağıtacak. Xbox Live Gold ağustos ayı oyunları, Xbox One ve Xbox 360 konsolları için yayınlanacak. Ancak geriye uyumluluk sayesinde tüm oyunlar Xbox Series X ve Xbox Series S üzerinden de oynanabilecek.
